Planning your first visit to Discovery?

We can't wait to see you! You'll find Discovery is a very welcoming church with lots of opportunities to get plugged into a ministry that can utilize your talents and gifts. Here's some of our most frequently asked questions:

We're a small church with a big mission - our vision is to establish a vibrant, loving, growing Christ-centered church that demonstrates God's love and actively reaches out to our community. We come together each week to worship authentically, encourage one another, and learn more about how we can be effectively sharing the Gospel and our testimonies in our daily lives.

When you step through our doors, you'll find many people who are excited to meet you and learn about you. You can stop at our Welcome Center to get the lay of the land and find out about upcoming events. We'll gladly point you to the coffee bar and help you find a place to settle in for the service if you would like. We were all new here once too, and we want to make sure you feel welcomed and valued - because you ARE!

We love kids at Discovery Community Church! We have a number of wonderful volunteers that are excited to pour into your kiddos each week. The nursery and Junior Church are available each Sunday; the nursery is open through the entire service and Junior Church dismisses during the service right before the sermon so your kids can listen to a message tailored to their age group!

Parking is available in the lot next to the church and on the street in front of the church. There are two entrances for easy access - one off the parking lot and one off the street.

We care about YOU, not your clothes! Wear whatever you are comfortable in.

We have lots of ministries that need volunteers and we have excellent Community Life Groups to help you delve deeper into scripture throughout the week. You can send us an email, give us a call, or chat with us in person if you'd like some help getting plugged into life at Discovery.
